#LEGOBrickation Summer event in #TraverseCity (Giveaway – ends 6/24)

Calling all LEGO fans! The LEGO Summer Brickation is coming to Traverse City, Michigan and it’s a great chance for families to enjoy some hands-on fun together with one of childhood’s most iconic toys. There are only four locations where you can experience the LEGO Brickation in the US this summer, and I’m so happy to see that one of them is so close to home, here in our beautiful state!

LEGO Summer Brickation Event – Traverse City

  • June 6th – July 17th
  • 300 E. Front St., Traverse City, MI 49686

I can remember playing for hours with LEGOS with my brother as a kid, and thanks to my mom’s good sense to keep our LEGO sets and hold on to them for the next generation, my kids are able to mix my old sets with newer ones – from my youngest’s pretty pink LEGOS to my 9-year-old’s Harry Potter sets. One of the very first toys we ever purchased when our first daughter was born was her first set of DUPLO blocks, and I remember sitting for hours building many block towers for her to happily knock over. As the kids get older, the LEGOS get smaller – and there’s so much opportunity for their imaginations to take over and let them build whatever they can dream up.

Here’s a chance for you and your kids to get in some practice for the big Brickation event – I have a fun LEGO prize pack to give away to one lucky reader! The prize pack contains: LEGO Club Magazine, 10 Bricks to Click (pack of ten bricks with building instructions) and a pirate hat. Please enter using the Rafflecopter widget below. This giveaway will end at 12:01am on June 24, 2012.

Good luck! And if you visit the LEGO Brickation in Traverse City this summer, share about it in the comments – I’d love to hear what you think. :)

My favorite lego memory was going to the lego store for the first time at downtown disney. It was fun :)

My husband was excited about having a son for the simple fact of being able to play with Lego’s. He works with the kids in the nursery at church and has way more fun than they do.

My kids love Legos. I wish we had a Brickation near enough to go to this summer or even a Lego Store nearby. Would love to win a prize pack.
