Review and Giveaway: Build-A-Bear Workshop

Every time we head to our local mall, my older girls spot the Build-A-Bear store and the begging begins. Never mind that they each already have 12 billion stuffed animals (how do those things multiply so fast?!), they just have to have one more. We’ve managed to hold out – in part because the stuffed animal population in our house outnumbers the human one by at least 60 to 1, but also because we feel that it would be much more special to ‘make’ a new bear or other stuffed animal for a birthday or other occasion.

Besides, it’s not like they’ve never had the Build-A-Bear experience before. They’ve each made a Halloween bear – and a few years ago some good friends of ours had their son’s birthday party there and my girls each made a stuffed animal then as well. But, there are always such cute new animals coming out every season and for every holiday – I have to admit that it takes quite a bit of self-control on my part to keep us out of the store every time too.

Courtesy of Build-A-Bear Workshop, my family received one of the new Beary Limited edition Hannah Montana-themed bears.

I am excited about this because my 5-1/2 year old is starting to become quite a little Hannah Montana fan, and with her birthday coming up in a couple of months, I am saving this new bear friend to surprise her with. She’s going to be thrilled!

Of course, that didn’t stop me from taking out our new bear friend and checking her out.    She’s extremely soft and huggable, and is sporting a very cool Hannah Montana shirt and the pendant necklace, of course. I can’t wait to see my daughter’s face when she opens her up on her birthday.

Starting on September 12th, you can find the new Beary Limited edition Hannah Montana-themed bear at a Build-A-Bear Workshop near you, while supplies last.
