Giveaway: Birthday Party Bash for the Wii (CLOSED)

Last summer I had the opportunity to review a (then) new game for the Wii, called Birthday Party Bash. It’s a “party in a box” whole birthday party experience that includes 20 different party games to play with your guests. Inside the box are invitations you can fill out and send as well as coupons to help make your party more affordable as well as fun.
My kids have had a blast playing the games in the ‘free play’ mode and even though we haven’t actually used this game for a birthday party yet, it’s one of their favorites. Since all three of my girls have cold-weather birthdays (late November, January and early April), I know that we’ll be using this game for many parties to come – including my youngest daughter’s this coming January. Even at only 3 years old, she has these games down and loves to play them along with her older sisters.
Even though we’re starting into the holiday season right now, birthdays certainly don’t go on hold. In fact, many of the kids I know have November and December birthdays – including my middle daughter, three of our neighbors’ kids, one of my friend’s kids, and several of my kids’ classmates. There are three birthdays this week alone in my 6-year-old’s first grade class. But no matter when your child’s birthday falls, Birthday Party Bash would make a fun gift this holiday season.
Would you like to try it?:
Courtesy of 2K Play and cohn&wolfe, I have the opportunity to give away two copies of Birthday Party Bash – one each to a couple of lucky readers! If you are planning a birthday party soon, or just are looking for a fun Wii game for your kids as a holiday gift, here are the rules:
- Enter by leaving a comment here to let me know what your favorite birthday party game is. Please don’t just say ‘choose me’, or your entry will be discarded.
- The contest will run until Monday, November 30th at 11:59 pm EST. The winners will be selected through random drawing, contacted by e-mail, listed on this post and also submitted to PRIZEY. US entries only, please.
- Please leave a valid e-mail address or other way to contact you! If either of the winners hasn’t responded within 3 days, an alternate winner will be chosen by random drawing.
- If you’d like extra entries, you can:
- Subscribe to my RSS feed (click on the orange icon in the upper right sidebar) or subscribe via e-mail – leave me a separate comment to let me know.
- Mention this contest on your blog with a link back to this post, and leave a separate comment with the link to your post so I can find it.
- Either Twitter about, ‘Digg’ or ‘Kirtsy’ this post – leave me a separate comment with your username at whichever site(s) you chose (one extra entry per method).
- Become a ‘fan’ of this site on Facebook – there’s a link in the sidebar or you can click here.
- Add my ‘2009 Holiday Gift Guide’ button to your site (the button code is in my sidebar).
So that’s a total of 8 comments/entries if you do all of the extra entry options.
Good luck! ![]()
THIS CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED – the random number generator has chosen comments #48 and #41 as the winners:

Congratulations to:
- Betty (no blog) who said, “Pin the tail on the Donkey. My kids have warm weather birthdays so we always took this game outside.“
- Gerrie S (no blog), whose extra subscription entry has won for her.
I will be e-mailing you both shortly to work out the details!

My favorite birthday party game has always been taking turns with the pinata. I had never been the one to break it, but that made it a lot easier to grab the candy!
Thank you for the chance!

My favorite birthday party game is those new pinatas they came out with. I love how each child takes turns pulling a string until the bottom opens up. A lot safer yet so much fun! Thank you!

I would have to say my favorite party game is the old drop the clothespin into the bottle game. Now-a-days they would probably enjoy the pianta like others have suggested or this video game.
As a kid, I always loved Musical Chairs. It is all the nervous excitement that appeals to me.

I love old school Pin the Tail on the Donkey!
I like the pin the tail to the donkey!
We played the most fun game ever at my 10th bday party. My mom had us each write down answers to ten questions she came up with. Then we tried answering questions about our friends and if we got them wrong, we got a piece of bubble gum to chew on. After answering a few wrong, we had mouthfuls of bubblegum. It was hilarious!
