Giveaway: Sweet Tomatoes and Souplantation restaurant dining passes (CLOSED)

October 16, 2009 by Deb

logo_souplantation There are 112 Sweet Tomatoes and Souplantation restaurants in 15 states across the US. Unfortunately, Michigan isn’t one of them, so I haven’t personally eaten at one of these – but I would love to if given the opportunity. All of them offer an all-you-care-to-eat fixed-price dining experience where the food is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, from scratch on a daily basis. As a parent concerned with both the quality of what I feed my family, as well as getting a good value for our hard-earned money – this sounds wonderful.  :)

There are a couple of exciting promotions that are coming up at Souplantation and Sweet Tomatoes restaurants that I want to let you all know about. First, they are holding a ‘Pajama-Rama’ event on Sunday, October 18th in celebration of National Pajama Month!

Children are invited to roll out of bed and head straight to a restaurant location for the 3rd Annual Pajama-Rama and have a free breakfast from 9am to noon with the purchase of an adult meal. Breakfast items include Belgian waffles, French toast, egg scramble foccacia, cinnamon chip biscuits, potatoes O’Brien, make-your-own breakfast burritos and much more!

Also, throughout the month of October, Souplantation and Sweet Tomatoes restaurants are having a crEATe Recipe Contest where you can submit your own recipes for “mouth-watering combinations made entirely from Souplantation or Sweet Tomatoes menu items” for a chance to win a year’s worth of free passes and be featured in an upcoming ad. Ten finalists will be chosen in November and all guests will be invited to vote for their favorite finalist in December. The winning recipe and chef will be announced in January.

The contest is open to restaurant guests in Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Missouri, Nevada, Oregon, New Mexico, North Carolina, Texas Utah and Washington. Guests must submit their recipe and a photo of themselves alongside the completed dish by October 31. The recipe must contain at least 2 to 5 Souplantation or Sweet Tomatoes menu items only and will be judged based on menu and visual appeal, ingredient list, and creativity. Recipes and photos can be submitted online at www.souplantation.com/create, on the Facebook page, or by email to create@gardenfreshcorp.com.

For more information on any of the above promotions, you can visit www.souplantation.com, www.sweettomatoes.com, become a fan on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/Souplantation and/or follow on Twitter at www.twitter.com/souplantation.

I also have the opportunity, thanks to Garden Fresh Restaurants and the Family Review Network, to give away some complimentary dining passes to three lucky readers! If you have a Souplantation or Sweet Tomatoes restaurant near you (check here to find out) and would like the chance to win a set of two dining passes (each good for one complimentary meal), here are the rules:

  1. Enter by visiting the Souplantation/Sweet Tomatoes site and leaving a comment here to let me know what your favorite menu item at either of these restaurants is (or which one you’d most like to try). Please don’t just say ‘choose me’, or your entry will be discarded.
  2. The contest will run until Wednesday, October 28th at 11:59 pm EST. The winners will be selected through random drawing, contacted by e-mail, listed on this post and also submitted to PRIZEY. US and Canadian entries only, please.
  3. Please leave a valid e-mail address or other way to contact you! If any of the winners hasn’t responded within 3 days, an alternate winner will be chosen by random drawing.
  4. If you’d like extra entries, you can:
  • Subscribe to my RSS feed (click on the orange icon in the upper right sidebar) or subscribe via e-mail – leave me a separate comment to let me know.
  • Mention this contest on your blog with a link back to this post, and leave a separate comment with the link to your post so I can find it.
  • Either Twitter about, ‘Digg’ or ‘Kirtsy’ this post – leave me a separate comment with your username at whichever site(s) you chose (one extra entry per method).
  • Become a ‘fan’ of this site on Facebook – there’s a link in the sidebar or you can click here.

So that’s a total of 7 comments/entries if you do all of the extra entry options.

Good luck!  :)

THIS CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED – the random number generator has chosen comments #1, #5 and #9 as the winners:

We ate at Sweet Tomotes about every 2 weeks when we lived in Florida. We have a friend who is vegitarian and this is one restaurant that has a wide variety of options for him. We also liked it because everyone was so friendly.

We were glad when about 6 months we moved to Texas that a Sweet Tomatoes opened near us. I love Joan’s Broccoli Madness.

Now when we go we take our grandkids with us and they love it too.
