I look at the Slow Cooker Mate™ and see it not only as a time-saving appliance, but as an incredible solution to the picky eater problem when it comes to crock pots. I go through recipe book after recipe book of one-pot meals, and rarely, if ever, find even one that I think my whole family would eat. Oh they like certain parts of it maybe, but throwing everything all in together just doesn’t work very well for us.

So how exactly does it work?

Imagine, coming home to a meal that is chicken with a mushroom sauce, buttered green beans and three-cheese potato casserole! But, if you want to cook that one pot meal like chili or stew, Slow Cooker Mate™ is versatile enough to be used as a one pot meal cooker as well, for all of your traditional crock pot recipes. You choose what kind of meal you want to make!

Here’s more details as to the features of this versatile slow cooker:

• Slow Cooker Mate™ features a digital programmable timer. You can program Slow Cooker Mate™ to cook up to 18 hours. At the end of the programmed cooking time, Slow Cooker Mate™ will automatically switch to the “keep warm” setting and keep food warm for up to 8 hours.
• The large 6L crock and the divided insert crock are dishwasher safe, microwave safe and oven safe. Both ceramic pieces are attractive and can be taken directly to the dinner table. Save valuable time by serving directly from the attractive crocks and not cleaning additional serving dishes.
• The glass lid is dishwasher safe.
• Slow Cooker Mate™ also features a stainless steel exterior and wrap around heat for even cooking.

Now while I haven’t personally tried the Slow Cooker Mate™ you can read testimonials from people who have on their website. And you can find several great recipe ideas there as well – my favorite is the Meatloaf, Cheesy Potatoes & Asparagus, which is something that I think my family might actually eat. I know I certainly would.
