Review and Giveaway: My Wonderful Walls

An interior decorator, I am not. Not by a long shot – in fact, I’m usually lucky to get paint up on the walls, and that’s about it. But every so often I’ll find a way to really personalize our rooms, which is why I want to share what I’ve learned about My Wonderful Walls – a site that sells both kits for painting kids murals and canvas nursery wall art for decorating kids’ rooms.
What they are:
My Wonderful Walls is owned by a husband and wife who got the idea for the business after painting their son’s room. Each stencil kit contains over 30 self-adhesive stencils, skillfully designed to work together as a theme. All you need is a little paint and one weekend to transform your child’s room – yourself. And what you don’t need, is any art ability – everything is right there to make it easy for you to create your own nursery murals for your kids.
For those who either don’t want to (or can’t) paint the walls in their kids’ rooms, My Wonderful Walls also offers canvas nursery wall decor, personalized with your kids’ name(s). You can buy them either singly or as a matched set that are designed to work together harmoniously.
Here’s my take on them:
Courtesy of My Wonderful Walls, we were sent one of the canvas wall art pieces, with all three of my girls’ names on it, in the ‘Flower Garden’ theme. The specific piece we received is the ‘Lovely Lily With Butterflies’ design. And the piece is certainly lovely indeed. It’s printed on canvas stretched over a wooden frame, and measures 15”x20”. I love the simple design and how well the names fit right within the space between the butterflies and the tall, waving grass.
It was very easy to pick out a design, and I really like how the site shows you which other pieces coordinate with the one you’re viewing as well. It’s so simple to pick and choose which ones you want to hang in your child’s room, and I can see how well these would also go right along with the stencil sets as well, for a gorgeous result that would be so easy to accomplish.
The bottom line:
My Wonderful Walls has taken all of the difficulty out of personalizing and decorating your baby’s nursery or kid’s room. With simple-to-use stencils, all you need is a little paint and some free time to create customized murals for kids. Or even just dress up the existing decor with a personalized piece of wall art, for a final touch that your child(ren) will love.
Where can you find them?:
You can purchase both the stencil kits and wall art at http://mywonderfulwalls.com. The site also contains how-to videos that show just how easy the murals are to create and accessorize. The stencil kits cost $99.95, and the single wall art pieces are $45 each.
Would you like to try them?:
Courtesy of My Wonderful Walls, I am thrilled to be able to give away a canvas wall art in the design of your choice, personalized with your child’s name. If you would like to hang one of these in your own child’s room, here are the rules:
- Enter by visiting My Wonderful Walls, checking out the nursery wall art and leaving a comment here to let me know which design you would choose if you win. Please don’t just say ‘choose me’, or your entry will be discarded.

If you don’t wish to leave your e-mail address, please make sure that you leave a unique name and check back with PRIZEYWinners to see if you won. If the winner hasn’t responded within 3 days, an alternate winner will be chosen by random drawing.

- Subscribe to my RSS feed (click on the orange icon in the upper right sidebar) or subscribe via e-mail – leave me a separate comment to let me know.
- Mention this contest on your blog with links back to this post and to My Wonderful Walls, and leave a separate comment with the link to your post so I can find it.
- Either Twitter about, ‘Stumble’, ‘Digg’ or ‘Kirtsy’ this post – leave me a separate comment with your username at whichever site(s) you chose (one extra entry per method).
So that’s a total of 7 comments/entries if you do all of the extra entry options.
