Giveaway: Zenses for the DS

December 23, 2008 by Deb

Couldn’t we all use a relaxing getaway, especially right about now with the bustle of the holidays and the long, cold, snow-filled winter ahead? I know that the idea of an escape from the challenges and stresses of the house, kids, finances, etc. is sounding pretty good to me.  :)

Zenses offers a brand new and fresh experience in gaming. In this active relaxation and the perfect “me time” companion, the player transcends the stresses of everyday life, unplugs and experiences an “active escape”.  Designed for casual play – whether it’s for three minutes or for a three-hour escape – the games offer a collection of six easy to pick up, yet addictive puzzle/brain games that are as fun as they are challenging. They also include:

  • A clean, fresh and “spa-like” interface and highlights the earth’s natural wonders and beauty.
  • A pleasant mixture of 2D and 3D. Zenses is controlled using the stylus only. Not a single key press is necessary.
  • Zenses includes a high-quality ambient soundtrack. And all music from the game is available to download for free (players receive special bonuses holding codes to unlock).

There are two titles already available in the Zenses series:

Zenses – Ocean Edition

41rfV2RrHVL._SL500_AA280_In Zenses: Ocean Edition, players relax themselves playing puzzle games inspired by the movements of the tide, rippling water, riffs and corals, beach vegetation and sea life. An indulgent, soothing experience, Zenses Ocean includes high quality visuals and ambient sounds inspired by the natural sounds of the sea. Subliminal addictive puzzles such as Hot Spot, Shell Twirl, Turtle Turn, Pearl Diver and Wave Breaker (names are currently being reviewed and may change) were created to give players an escape from the stress of every day life.

Zenses -  Rainforest Edition

51CEYEk0cpL._SL500_AA280_ Zenses: Rainforest Edition allows players to explore the Amazon while playing games infused with rain drops, exotic flowers, waterfalls and giant trees. This refreshing experience encourages players to recharge their batteries while playing puzzle games such as Sapphire Wheel, Mirror Maze, Stack Jack and Bumble Breaker (names are currently being reviewed and may change).

Where can you find them?:
Both games are available now online and at retailers nationwide (Target, Wal-Mart, Amazon, among others) for $29.99 each.

Would you like to try them?:

Courtesy of the Family Review Network and The Game Factory, I have a copy of each of these games to give away to a lucky reader! If you’d like to get away with both Zenses: Ocean and Zenses: Rainforest, here are the rules:

  1. Enter by visiting the Game Factory site and leaving a comment here to let me know which DS games (other than Zenses) you think you would like. Please don’t just say ‘choose me’, or your entry will be discarded.
  2. The contest will run until Saturday, January 3rd at 11:59 pm EST. The winner will be selected through random drawing, contacted by e-mail, listed on this post and also submitted to PRIZEY.Fetch. US entries only, please.
  3. Please leave a valid e-mail address or other way to contact you! If you don’t wish to leave your e-mail address, please make sure that you leave a unique name and check back with PRIZEYWinners to see if you won. If the winner hasn’t responded within 3 days, an alternate winner will be chosen by random drawing.
  4. If you’d like extra entries, you can:
  • Subscribe to my RSS feed (click on the orange icon in the upper right sidebar) or subscribe via e-mail – leave me a separate comment to let me know.
  • Mention this contest on your blog with a link back to this post, and leave a separate comment with the link to your post so I can find it.
  • Either Twitter about, ‘Stumble’, ‘Digg’ or ‘Kirtsy’ this post – leave me a separate comment with your username at whichever site you chose (one extra entry).

So that’s a total of 4 comments/entries if you do all of the extra entry options.

Good luck!  :)

THIS CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED - the random number generator has chosen comment #124 as the winner:

zensesrandomnumberCongratulations to Michelle (no blog) whose extra subscription entry has won for her! I will be e-mailing you shortly to work out the details.

UPDATE: Michelle actually won this same prize from another site, and has asked that I draw a new winner so that someone else can enjoy these games as well. Thank you for being so generous, and this time the random number generator has chosen comment #133 as the new winner:
