Let’s face it, when it comes to sending flowers – for the holidays or any other reason, we moms tend to be the ones doing the ordering. But there’s nothing that quite dresses up the table like a beautiful bouquet or basket, especially at Christmas dinner or on other special occasions. And there’s nothing quite like the pick-me-up feeling that you get when you receive flowers, no matter who from.
I recently had the opportunity to send flowers using the service at Flora2000.com and am happy to be able to offer the same chance to a couple of you as well (see below)!
What they are:
Flora2000 is the only online floral service to provide same day international flower delivery to over 150 countries. And unlike other floral delivery services, Flora2000 only charges a customer’s credit card after delivery is received. If a mistake on an order is made, they offer a 100% refund plus free replacement delivery as well.
Flora2000 puts a premium on customer service. Delivery success rates are near 100% and Flora2000′s ‘Live Chat’ phone service allows customers to speak with a ‘live’ floral professional 24/7 to answer everything from the status of an order to how to select the right flower for any occasion.
Working with a network of the finest florists across the globe, Flora2000 sends the freshest, most premium flowers at the best prices to the U.S., Canada, U.K., Brazil, Mexico, Germany, Singapore, China, Hong Kong, India, Australia, and more. Customers can view online catalogs designed for each of the 150 countries Flora2000 delivers to and then choose from more than 3,000 floral arrangements.
Once an order is placed at Flora2000.com, it is routed to a professional florist located nearest to the delivery designation, who creates and delivers your flowers, ensuring that special hometown touch with each order. Your recipient even gets a follow up call to make sure they were happy with the arrangement!
Here’s my take on them:
I had the opportunity to place an order for flowers right before Thanksgiving last month. Not needing to send any flowers internationally, I chose to send them to my Mother-in-Law, since we were going to be visiting there for Thanksgiving dinner and I could see for myself how the flowers looked. Besides, I thought they would make a lovely centerpiece for dinner as well.
I chose a very autumn-themed basket, called ‘Autumn Festivities. I liked the array of bright colors and the variety of blooms included and thought it would be very well received:
This arrangement is described as: “highlighting the beauty of the season with fresh autumn flowers and foliage skillfully designed and coordinated in fabulous fall colors”.
I scheduled the delivery for the day before Thanksgiving and was happy to receive a call from my Mother-in-Law that day thanking me for the arrangement. And I was thrilled to see the basket on her table the next day when we went up to visit:
The brilliant colors were just truly gorgeous and I was happy to see that the basket was extremely close to what I had ordered. In fact, I think it was even prettier than the picture on the website.
My Mother-in-Law did mention that the delivery driver had to call to get specific directions – but they live out in the middle of nowhere (literally) and most delivery personnel have a hard time finding them. She was very happy with the service, and I was extremely happy with them as well. I’d received e-mails updating me on the progress of the delivery as well as making sure that I was satisfied afterward – it’s clear that they take customer service very seriously, which is wonderful to see.
The bottom line:
Flora2000.com offers beautiful floral arrangements to a wide variety of countries beyond the US. Ordering from the site was very easy and the arrangement arrived exactly when it was supposed to. Consider using Flora2000.com for all of your floral needs, both during the holidays and beyond.
Where can you find them?:
The site is located at http://www.flora2000.com. Prices for flower arrangements vary, but there is quite a good assortment for under $45. You can search the site by occasion or by price, and there are currently quite a few beautiful holiday arrangements available.
Would you like to try them?:
If you are interested in trying out the Flora2000.com service for yourself, I have two coupon codes, each good for a $50 order on the site, available for two lucky readers!
