Review and Giveaway: KN Karen Neuburger Pink Ribbon Collection

KN Karen Neuburger is a company that is known for products made of quality fabrics. And especially for loungewear, pajamas and other ‘comfortable’ clothes. I own two pairs of their pajamas that I won last year from blog giveaways and can honestly say that they are the most comfortable ones I’ve ever had. Soft and cozy – even after many washes.
This month, I am reviewing the KN Karen Neuburger Pink Ribbon Collection, as part of my series on Breast Cancer Awareness and in highlighting some of the companies and products out there which support the fight against Breast Cancer and the search for a cure.
What they are:
Products from the KN Karen Neuburger Pink Ribbon Collection include pajamas, loungewear, home accessories, paper goods and quilting fabrics. Actively aiding the effort to help the fight against Breast Cancer, KN will donate a minimum of $75,000 in 2008 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation® from sales of KN pink ribbon products.
The Tickled Pink pajama editions include a classic boyfriend-style pajama with a playful typography-inspired print acknowledging friends, family and loved ones, as well as a set of sleepwear separates with solid aqua top and print pants. Each pajama gift set is embellished with a satin pink ribbon at the neckline.
The collection also includes quilting fabrics, sold by the yard:

KN has supported the fight against breast cancer since the brand’s beginnings in 1997, and through KN Cares® integrates its support of women’s wellness, heart health, breast cancer awareness and family literacy with special product collections and limited edition prints. In addition to offering the KN Pink Ribbon Signature Collection year-round, the company continues to participate in and host events in communities across the country to support and raise awareness for the fight against breast cancer.
Thanks to KN Karen Neuburger, I received a pair of the Pink Ribbon Chenille Lounge Socks with Grippers to try out.
Here’s my take on them:
Ooh, my feet absolutely love these socks. Made of a soft, stretchy chenille, they are warm and comfortable, and have rubber ‘grippies’ on the bottoms as well in order to prevent slipping. I had a chance to wear them around the house quite a bit last week when we had a cold weather spell, and I almost hated to see the weather warm up again.
I think the only thing better than wearing these socks this winter will be pairing them (lol) with my Karen Neuburger pajamas. I’m just glad that my girls’ feet aren’t big enough to fit in these – I don’t have to share them with anybody.
I haven’t washed them yet but am hoping that they will feel just as soft afterward. I’m almost afraid to find out…
The bottom line:
Made with just as much quality and care as their ‘regular’ line, the KN Karen Neuburger Pink Ribbon Collection offers the added benefit of helping to spread awareness and supporting a company which is in turn supporting the fight against Breast Cancer. And you can look cute while doing so, in one of these pink-themed pajama or sock sets.
Where can you find them?:
The KN Karen Neuburger Pink Ribbon Collection is available for you to “Shop for the Cause” year-round at Macy’s North, Dillards or Bon-Ton Stores or at www.karenneuburger.com. The new Tickled Pink pajamas are also available at Carson’s, Elder-Beerman, Bergner’s, Boston Store, Herberger’s, Younkers, Parisian and Von Maur department stores nationwide. The products range in price, but the socks that I reviewed sell for $15 on the website.
